Product Description
Sometimes the color comes out of the dyepots without a direct inspiration. But often I know I've hit just the right color when it speaks to me. In this case, as soon as I saw Coveralls I was flooded with memories of the coveralls my Grandpa wore most days out on the farm. A blend of denim blues and grays, Coveralls is a hardworking color, just like Grandpa.
Pricing is PER SKEIN. Multiple skeins are pictured to show nuances from skein to skein in hand-dyed yarn.
Artisan Sock base: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.
- 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
- 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
- 8 stitches per inch
- US size 1-2 needle
Listed gauge is suggested for sock knitting. Artisan Sock maybe knit at a looser gauge for other accessories and garments.
Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.
