Product Description
Acorn is a mix of reddish browns and dark grays - a perfect usher to fall weather. This earthy, gender neutral color is just the ticket for cold weather accessories - matching up well with a variety of colors of coats and sweaters. Speaking of sweaters, how about a sweater in Acorn (Cadence, perhaps) with a bright pop of a yellow or red for a cowl to match?
Pricing is PER SKEIN. Multiple skeins are pictured to show nuances from skein to skein in hand-dyed yarn.
Artisan Sock base: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.
- 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
- 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
- 8 stitches per inch
- US size 1-2 needle
Listed gauge is suggested for sock knitting. Artisan Sock maybe knit at a looser gauge for other accessories and garments.
Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.
